Description

Student will develop competencies in judging, placement and evaluation of horses in non-co mpetitive and competitive situations. Valuab le skills in oral and written communication w ill be gained. Students will be able to plac e a class of horses, defend placings to train ed evaluator and judge at horse shows. Stude nts will be able to justify placing of halter and performance horses with correct terminol ogy, place horses based on conformation, bree d characteristics, manners, disposition, way of going, muscling, etc.
