    This course is designed to be a basic introdu ction and application of economics to agricul ture. Basic economic concepts will be present ed and related agricultural problems. The int erdependence of the subsectors of agriculture will be emphasized: among farming, agribusin ess and government; between individuals withi n agriculture. The significance and the role of consumers to agriculture will be presented .
