Description

This is a mathematics survey course and is designed to apply mathematical principles across different disciplines. The topics include but are not limited to critical and logical thinking, estimation and an understanding of numbers, linear and quadratic equations including applications, statistics, and its applications, basic concepts of probability and risk, consumer mathematics, and applications across multiple disciplines including finance and social issues. This course includes review of prerequisite topics and will meet an additional two hours per week. Requisites: Please see the DC3 Math Placement Guide for more information before enrolling.
