Description

This course covers the six trigonometric functions, measurement of angles using both radians and degrees, solutions of the right and oblique triangles, verifying trigonometric identities, solving and graphing trigonometric equations, inverse trigonometric functions, complex numbers, trigonometric form of complex numbers, DeMoivre’s Theorem, and polar coordinates. Specified computer software and/or graphing calculators are utilized with appropriate topics. Prerequisite: MATH 106 with a grade of C or better (or taken concurrently) OR Appropriate score on placement test. [KRSN: MAT1030 Trigonometry]
