Description

This is a basic course in statistical concepts and methods. The course includes descriptive statistics, probability, binomial and normal distributions, interval estimates and hypothesis testing. Optional topics are Anova and non-parametric statistics. Problems come largely from business and social sciences. A statistical computer program is utilized. This course includes review of prerequisite topics and will meet an additional two hours per week. Please see the DC3 Math Placement Guide for more information before enrolling.
