Description

This course is designed to develop the student into a well-rounded musician and to focus on cultivating leadership skills in music. The students will learn the techniques of being a professional musician - on stage, in the studio, or in front of a classroom. Students will be engaged in private lessons, public performance, ensemble preparation and performance, career evaluation, and panel discussions. Students will preview introductory classes in music history, performance and practice, music education, composition, and theory and sight-singing skills.
